Joshua Eadie - Writer/Creator

Growing up in Montpelier, Virginia, he fell in love early with Marvel superhero comics, borrowing from friends wherever he could, and spending many hours of his childhood at the library reading fantasy and science fiction.

Though an avid reader, Joshua's creative endeavors have been almost entirely musical. He wrote, sang, and played various instruments in bands ranging from punk to metal to folk/pop, and currently creates with a bluegrass trio and a synthwave duo. Even when he began developing the world of Southtown in 2017, he didn't seriously consider putting a story to paper until he met Ally Lawson at a concert in 2019. Since then he's begun to branch out as a creative writer, not only writing the Southtown comic, but also running homebrew games of Dungeons and Dragons, and even working on a novel within the Southtown universe.

Wil Smith - Illustrator

Wil picked up his first comic book in 1991. Chris Claremont and Jim Lee’s X-Men #1. The artistic shift from Ninja Turtles to Marvel was a formative time that evolved over the years, which diverted into edgier titles like Spawn and WildC.A.T.s (thanks to the great Image Comics migration of 1992.)

Despite solidifying the illustrious title of “Art School Dropout,” the pencils and pens were always within reach. Among his artistic achievements are a three panel web comic from 2008-2011, a plethora of comic and pop culture paintings, 4 consecutive years of #Inktober projects (to varying degrees of completion,) and a solid portfolio of pet portraits commissioned by friends while we were all stuck in our homes during the spring and summer of 2020.
